Named after the Jodorowsky masterpiece, Sleep’s Holy Mountain is probably one of the heaviest records made to this day and demonstrates a true masterclass of riffs. Holy Mountain, the second offering from the Oakland California three piece was originally released in early 1992 and remains hugely influential to the doom metal and stoner rock bands who would follow and many consider it a seminal album to this day. Songs from the record were even featured in Harmony Korine's movie cult classic Gummo. For fans of all things heavy, this behemoth of a record is definitely for you. If you can't get your hands on the record you should grab this original Earache CD version!
