We’ve just had a huge restock of releases from the legendary Habibi Funk imprint, specialising in reissuing lost gems from the Middle East and North Africa. The pick of the bunch is ‘East of Any Place’ by Lebanese musician Roger Fakhr, originally recorded in the 70s; these stunning raw, folk-driven arrangements were originally only released on a handful of tapes given to his family & rediscovered in 2021!
