Any Atomic Rooster die-hard needs to get hold of this excellent CD compilation. On Air features an awesome live recording of the band's BBC Radio 1 session from 1972, and the track list is absolutely killer. It's essentially a "best of" collection from the band's extensive back catalogue, featuring classics like "Black Snake," "Break Through," and the instrumental prog jammer "VUG." As well as the previously mentioned BBC session, there's also a bonus DVD featuring live footage from the legendary Beat-Club sessions in Germany. Highly recommended!
