Taken By Force is the 2023 release from Aussie band CIVIC and it's a straight-up, no-frills punk rock rager! The Melbourne five-piece certainly deliver with eleven rip-roaring tracks, bringing a raw, Stooges-inspired energy. With a nod to the guitar attack of Greg Sage from The Wipers and clear influences from fellow countrymen The Saints and Radio Birdman, this is a definite stand-out of the currently thriving Australian punk scene. Highly recommended!
