Released in 2016 “Familiar Haunts” is the 2nd full length solo offering from Jason Simon (mastermind behind heavy psych rockers Dead Meadow) and offers a different, less fuzzy / heavy approach than previous work. This record travels down a more stripped back folk route with some Banjo, and excellent finger picking whilst not losing those drifting and swirling psychedelic sounds. We are also another one of Simon’s other side projects “Old Testament”, same kind of vibe and definitely worth checking out.
