Notes:

US promotional 12" single was sent out to radio stations and media offices in the US Dec 1983, a few weeks before the retail 45 release. Official release date of the 45 at stores was Jan 5, 1984. 

These were pressed by PRC-Compton on standard black vinyl or, on a higher-quality translucent purple vinyl (hold up to a light and you can see through it) which was common with promo releases and gold promo stamp releases sent out by PolyGram at this time.

The PRC-Compton plant is identified by a small "26" on the left side of the labels and PRC-C in the run-outs.

Jacket art is basically the same as used on the 45 picture sleeve. "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" is printed on both labels and front of jacket.
