Since the 1999 remastered edition came out a mistake regarding the recording date is printed on all the US and UK/European reissues and represses on the backsleeve:
Recorded on April 21, 1967 at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. All transfers from analog to digital were made at 24-bit resolution. Tracks 1 to 7 originally issued as Blue Note BLP 4123 and BST 84123. 
The actual recording date is January 8, 1963.
April 21, 1967 is the recording date of '[r=9282375' album by McCoy Tyner; also recorded by Rudy van Gelder.
