My next two staff picks of the week are two new releases, and they both happen to be from Manchester! First up is Liam Gallagher's joint effort with ex-Stone Roses guitarist, John Squire. As far as supergroups go, this one surprised me! Containing a whole bunch of elements of psych-blues with guitar solos reminiscent of Hendrix & Page, this one is definitely worth a listen if you're a fan of old-skool Oasis!
