One of my favourite recent additions to our extreme metal section has to be the utterly devastating Mortal, the 2020 release from Oakland, California trio NECROT. This is definitely one for die-hard fans of old-school death metal, delivering a constant, brutal onslaught of pummellingly heavy riffs and full-on shred.

This excellent, hand-numbered white-coloured vinyl pressing is limited to just 300 copies and comes with a limited-edition alternate outer sleeve. It's released by the killer California-based Tankcrimes label, which is also well worth checking out.
